Welcome to the Stocksbridge High School website. We are a highly successful, thriving 11-16 comprehensive school with specialist status in Maths and Computing, situated eleven miles north of Sheffield. Our greatest asset lies in our people – a wonderful team of enthusiastic students, committed staff and supportive parents and governors. We value the contributions that each person brings. We are passionate about making school life enjoyable and challenging, providing varied opportunities for learning and securing the highest possible levels of achievement for each and every student. We are proud of our impressive exam results which have risen year on year. In 2011 OFSTED judged the school to be ‘good with outstanding features’, praising many aspects of the school’s work and describing our systems for student support as ‘second to none’. We continue to make the most of our huge potential and look forward to an exciting future.
